Dear Alumni and Friends:
For more than 20 years, the Erickson Alumni Center has been a home away from home for all Mountaineers. The center has played host to hundreds of events each year, including pre-game pep rallies, the Academy of Distinguished Alumni, reunion programs, graduation ceremonies, weddings and other events.
Our alumni family has grown over the years, and our need for and dream of moving into a new home is now a reality. In just a few short months, we will be opening the doors to our new alumni center. The center is more than four times the size of our current facility and will enable us to better meet the ever-changing needs of our alumni and friends.
We want you to be a part of our New Home for Mountaineers. Through our building campaign, you can recognize family members and memorable occasions by purchasing special bricks for the Ware Family Alumni Walk where thousands of visitors will enter the new center each year. In addition, special brick columns and granite benches at the center also are unique opportunities to honor loved ones and friends.
This New Home for Mountaineers is going to be a magnificent facility for alumni and friends of WVU. We hope that you will consider leaving your legacy by making a gift through this special campaign.
Forever Mountaineers,

Stephen L. Douglas, ’74, ’79
President & CEO

Hundreds of thousands of Mountaineers will make their way along the Ware Family Alumni Walk as they enter the new Erickson Alumni Center, and you have an opportunity to forever leave your mark during our special brick campaign.

These commemorative bricks make great gifts and are a unique opportunity to honor loved ones or celebrate special occasions. Only 800 bricks will be sold as part of the Alumni Walk, so be sure to create your legacy at our New Home for Mountaineers.
