Picture of the New Erickson Alumni Center

The new Erickson Alumni Center is located in the heart of the Evansdale Campus, less than 400 yards from Milan Puskar Stadium. Our alumni home is reminiscent of one of WVU's most noted buildings -- Woodburn Hall -- and features multiple meeting rooms, a large banquet hall, a bell tower/carrilon system, and outdoor courtyard.

The new Erickson Alumni Center continues to carry the Erickson family name. The late Charles O. Erickson, a well-known business and civic leader from Parkersburg, W.Va., valued the importance of alumni and provided generous gifts to build alumni centers at every college and university in West Virginia, including the first Erickson Alumni Center at WVU which was built in 1986. His son, Charles, continued that family commitment by providing additional financial support for the construction of our new Erickson Alumni Center.

In addition to the conference facilities, the center houses the WVU Alumni Association Offices and plays hosts to alumni events and activities on campus. The center offers convenient parking with easy access to Interstate 79, a non-smoking atmosphere, and exceptional catering services by award-winning Executive Chef Scott Spiker and his staff.
