The Erickson Alumni Center continues to carry the Erickson family name. The late Charles O. Erickson, a well-known business and civic leader from Parkersburg, W.Va., valued the importance of alumni and provided generous gifts to build alumni centers at every college and university in West Virginia, including the first Erickson Alumni Center at WVU which was built in 1986. His son, Charles, continued that family commitment by providing additional financial support for the construction of our new Erickson Alumni Center.
