Todd M. Beckwith
Todd Beckwith is a senior vice president of City National Bank of West Virginia in Martinsburg, W.Va. He has been a commercial loan officer with the bank since 1993. Prior to joining City National Bank, Beckwith had worked with other community banks in Berkeley County since 1978. After graduating from WVU with a bachelorís degree in mathematics in 1970, Beckwith taught math and coached tennis at Hedgesville High School from 1971-1978.
Beckwith has been a member of the Berkeley County Board of Education since 1994, serving as president from 1998-2000, and is currently serving his third elected term. Berkeley County is the fastest growing school system in West Virginia having grown from the ninth largest system to the second largest school district during Beckwithís term on the Board.
Beckwith has been active in other professional and community organizations. He has served three separate terms on the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Beckwith is past president of the Martinsburg Lions Club and is currently serving on the Board of the United Way of Berkeley and Morgan Counties. He has served in various leadership and fund-raising capacities with the Boy Scouts of America. Beckwith is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Martinsburg, serving on numerous committees and is currently chair of the Finance Committee.
Beckwith is a former president of the Eastern Panhandle WVU Alumni Chapter. He is active with the Eastern Panhandle Mountaineer Fan Club and the Mountaineer Athletic Club. He has been a life member of the WVU Alumni Association since 1979 and is a member of the Old Gold Club.
Beckwith resides in Martinsburg with his wife, Barbara, who graduated from WVU in 1971 with bachelorís degree in Spanish. They have two children, Ellen and Andrew.
