David L. Hill
David Hill, a native of Madison, W.Va., received a bachelor’s degree in finance from WVU in 1974. He became a casualty underwriter for U.S.F.& G. Insurance where he worked for three years. He joined his father at Ferrell & Hill Insurance Agency, LLC, in 1977, and in 1996, became owner of the family agency.
Dave is actively involved in the community serving on the numerous boards, including the Boone County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, United Way of Boone County and Boone County Bank. He is a member and past president of the Madison Rotary Club, as well as a member of the Madison Baptist Church where he serves as trustee, deacon and chairman of the finance board.
Dave, a life member of the WVU Alumni Association has been a dedicated and loyal supporter of WVU. He served as president of the Boone County Chapter of WVU Alumni & Friends which has raised more than $200,000 for scholarships for local students to attend WVU. As a student at WVU, he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Dave and his wife, Dremea Powell Hill, a 1976 graduate of WVU, have two sons, David Lee, a graduate of the WVU School of Dentistry, and Nicholas, a fourth-year dental student at WVU.
