David L. Hill
David Hill, a native of Madison in Boone County, W.Va., received a bachelor’s degree in finance from WVU in 1974. He became a casualty underwriter for U.S.F.& G. Insurance where he worked for three years. He joined his father at Ferrell & Hill Insurance Agency in Madison in 1977, and in 1996, became owner of the family agency.
Dave, a life member of the WVU Alumni Association has been a dedicated and loyal supporter of WVU. He served as president of the Boone County Chapter of WVU Alumni & Friends which, during its more than 22-year history, has raised money for scholarships for local students to attend WVU. As a student at WVU, he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Dave and his wife, Dremea Powell Hill, a 1976 music major at WVU, have two sons, David Lee and Nicholas, both graduates of WVU and the WVU School of Dentistry.
