Board of Directors
About
An eighteen member Board of Directors serves as the policy-making group of the WVU Alumni Association, Inc. Representatives, who serve six-year terms, are elected from across the nation and the state of West Virginia. The Board membership also includes two appointed members - an On-Campus Representative who serves a three-year term and a Multi-Cultural Representative who serves a two-year term. In addition, the WVU president and WVU Foundation chairman serve on the Board as ex-officio, non-voting members.
New members are elected each May at the WVU Alumni Association's Annual Business meeting held during Alumni-Commencement Weekend on campus. Individuals can be nominated by submitting a letter of consideration to the president of the WVU Alumni Association.
